Why Buy Our Suspension Strut Spreader Tool?

EASY TO USE: This tool is used to separate the suspension strut from the wheel bearing housing by being stuck in the gap, and you only need to rotate the outer hex to separate it. Simply use an open-end wrench to fix the tool in place, then use a 17mm socket or wrench to rotate the hexagon screw and stretch the gap to remove the strut.

HIGH QUALITY: Made of high-quality carbon steel and chrome vanadium (CR-V), it is durable, wear-resistant, and long-lasting. It has an external hexagon rotation design with a built-in booster drive for easy removal and installation of suspension struts and ball joints. It also has a parallel pressure surface that prevents the tool from accidentally jumping out or slipping off.

COMPATIBILITY: It works on most vehicles equipped with a pinch bolt style hub which is commonly found on Volkswagen, Audi, Ford, BMW, Peugeot, Renault, Seat, Skoda, and Japanese vehicles.

    Must-Have For Easily Removing Struts

This little unit is well worth it and it will save you big bucks on busting screwdrivers and other tools trying to spread the clamp around the bottom of a strut. Just turn it clockwise and it spreads the clamp open just like it states and has to hold it with another wrench, it does its job well and saved a ton of time and headaches. Very good little unit if you do your own wrenching I highly recommend this if you're going to be removing your own struts.

As a DIY mechanic, I'd say this one is essential when working with a strut since it works 100x faster than doing it without it. Seems to hold up well even with frequent use.

This Little Tool Is All You Need

I can't find any fault with this handy, labor-saving tool. Sure, we've all broken down and gone brute and barbarian on suspensions. But before you take out the Big Fing hammer and the Giant Fing pry bar and bash up everything, including maybe ripping up the boots to your CV, try the civilized approach with this gizmo. You will need a 17 mm to turn the screw and can use a 17 mm open-wrench to stabilize the main piece. The spread range is small but it is all you need. I did one Subaru lower ball joint knuckle this afternoon. If you know that insane pinch bolt design/scheme, you know it has made many a sober full grown man cry. Yet using this to give me just a mm, was all I needed.

Fast And Easy Removal Of Strut

This is easily a much better tool to use to expand the strut pinch. The housing is made of anodized aluminum and the expander components are made of solid steel. Seems to be very sturdy. I can't wait to use it!
