A: This will only work if the deadbolt knob is horizontal or vertical. It will not work in a 45 degree position. Please note that if your deadbolt is in a 45 degrees position, it may not be properly installed or jammed.
Q: Will this work on a storm door that has a lever handle and swings out?
A: As long as the door has a traditional deadbolt and door handle setup, it should work fine. Lever handles vs knob handles shouldn’t affect it. Also it doesn’t matter which way the door swings. So it should work fine. Hope that helps.
